PortAventura in Spain
Port Aventura is about 10 mil south of Barcelona, just a few kilometers from the popular beach resort of Salou. Near the Costa Dorada's golden beaches is Port Aventura where Port Aventura Theme Park and PortAventura Aquatic Park awaits for you for one in a lifetime experience for the whole family. In connection with the parks are also four themed hotels but you can also decide to stay cheaply by staying in one of our several carefully selected hotels in Salou including hotels near the beach with a walking distance to the theme parks.
PortAventura Park
This is a classic theme park where you can choose from around 30 different rides, including Europe's tallest, fastest and longest hill, roller-coaster "Shambhala" which was completed in 2012.
Here you also find the "Dragon Khan" roller-coaster with eight (!) Loops and the new attraction freefall "Hurakan Condor" and the real challenge "Furios Baco". There are also some quieter activities for the youngest children. In 2011 inaugurated family area SesamoAventura with the known characters Cookie Monster, Ernie and Bert.
Port Aventura is not only rides. Every day there are several shows and parades through the park with Chinese magicians, stuntmen and cancan-dancing. There are restaurants with different orientations and souvenir shops. You get free entrance to Port Aventura theme park if you decide to live in one of the park's theme hotels.
PortAventura Aquatic Park
Here you get all the water animals, lovely wave pools and spectacular water slides. The area is surrounded by palm trees. PortAventura Aquatic Park have both outdoor and indoor pools, so if the weather is not stable on someday, just jump in the heated pools indoors. You get 30% discount on entrance to PortAventura Aquatic Park if you live in one of the park's hotels.
